    The Holistic Approach to Bladder, Urinary Tract Infections and Sinus Infections

    Bladder and Urinary Tract Infections

    Urinary tract infections, including bladder infections, are the second most common type of infection of the body in the United States. These infections need to be dealt with quickly because they can lead to kidney damage. Urinary tract infections involve bacteria that get into and attaches to the urethra. A bladder infection results when bacteria travels from the urethra into the bladder and attaches to the bladder walls. If left untreated, the bacteria will multiply in the urethra and bladder. Symptoms of infection include pain while urinating, urge to urinate often, pain and cramping.

    Bacteria spread when the immune system is weak and compromised. The holistic approach is to use natural products to both boost the immune system and attack the bacteria. White blood cells generated by the immune system will attack and destroy the bacteria. The following products are effective at boosting the immune system: bee propolis, Asian mushroom supplements (reishi, shiatkai, maitake), green tea and green tea extract, grape seed extract, maca and Echinacea. Good size doses of multi-vitamins (a, b complex, c, d, e and k1 and k2) along with colloidal trace minerals also help boost the immune system. Frankincense essential oil also boosts the immune system.

    Flood the body with anti-oxidants to boost the immune system. Eat primarily a raw vegan diet (with lots of dark green leafy vegetables). Eat lot of salads and drink lots of fresh juices (including green juices and beet and beet root juices) and smoothies. Super anti-oxidants like co-q 10/ubiquinol, turmeric/curcumin and fresh garlic will also help boost the immune system.

    Take supplements that attack the bacteria directly. A combination of colloidal silver, oregano oil, olive leaf extract and chlorophyll are very effective. They act together as natural antibiotics that identify and attack and destroy the invading bacteria.

    Avoid refined sugar and starches and processed foods. They weaken the immune system. Maintain an alkaline PH balance while healing. An acidic PH balance weakens the immune system. An alkaline PH balance strengthens it. Drink pure water with fresh lemon and baking soda in it to alkaline the PH balance. There are alkaline water distributors that offer the option of purchasing a home alkaline water machine.

    The immune system starts with the gut. So de-toxify, cleanse and heal the intestines and colon. Use a combination of wormwood extract, black walnut shell extract and cloves and grapefruit and grapefruit seed extract to eliminate parasites and candida over-growth from the colon and intestines. On a daily basis, drink a glass of pure water and diatomaceous earth and drink parsley and cilantro tea/juice to de-toxify the intestines and colon. To make parsley/cilantro tea/juice, take bunches of fresh parsley and cilantro and let it soak in a bowl of boiling water overnight. Eat pre-biotic foods (fresh garlic and onion) and take probiotic supplement and eat fermented food. This will all help to re-populate the gut with beneficial bacteria.

    Get plenty of rest and sleep and greatly reduce stress in your life to boost the immune system.

    For bladder and urinary tract infections, drink pure, organic unsweetened cranberry juice and take d mannose and celery seed supplements and extra doses of Vitamin C.

    Drink a lot of pure water and use apple cider vinegar to help flush out the infection.

    Pain is related to inflammation. To greatly reduce pain and inflammation, take turmeric/curcumin and bromelain supplements, eat raw turmeric and drink pure organic tart cherry juice.

    Sinus Infections

    For sinus infections, use the same protocol and take the supplements described above to boost the immune system and alkaline the PH balance. A strong immune system will destroy the microbes that have led to the sinus infection. Eat a raw vegan diet to flood the body with vitamins, minerals and anti-oxidants. Avoid dairy, processed foods and meat. These foods are acidic. They may weaken the immune system and lead to an acidic PH balance and the creation of more mucus. To destroy microbes, take a combination of colloidal silver, oregano oil, Asian mushroom supplements (reishi, shiataki and maitake), olive leaf extract and chlorophyll. Take extra doses of vitamin C.

    Drink a lot of pure water and use apple cider vinegar to help flush out the infection.

    Cayenne pepper, horse radish, grapefruit seed extract and ginger/ginger tea help to dry up mucus.

    Use boiling water and essential oil to clear up mucus. Put some eucalyptus and menthol essential oil in a pot of boiling water, put a towel over your head and breathe in the vapor. This will help.

    Influenza

    Influenza, also called the flu, is an infectious disease caused by the influenza virus. Symptoms of influenza include high fever, runny nose, sore throat and muscle pain. Complications of the flu can lead to pneumonia. Flu also includes stomach virus. There are approximately 3 to 5 million cases of influenza annually that result in 250,000 to 500,000 deaths annually.

    To prevent influenza, wash your hands with soap and water often and maintain a strong immune system and high energy level. To reverse flu, you also want to maintain a strong immune system and high energy level. To maintain a strong immune system and high energy level, flood your system with vitamins, minerals and anti-oxidants and maintain an alkaline PH balance. Eat the raw organic vegan diet discussed above and take the vitamins, minerals, anti-oxidants and other supplements and follow the protocols discussed above to boost your immune system and energy level. For congestion, breathe in the vapors of the essential oils and boiling water discussed above and use the supplements and other protocols discussed above to dry up mucus.
